Are the engines tested? How?

Answer

Yes, our engines are inspected before shipping.

Checked:

The camshaft and crankshaft are measured, polished, and checked for cracks and misalignment.
The cylinder head is measured, milled and ultrasonically treated.
The block is polished and measured, if the cylinders are worn, the cylinder liners are replaced
Pistons are inspected, cleaned and UV crack tested.

In addition, the following engine parts are replaced with high-quality new parts in rebuilt engines: Timing chain/belt with tensioner, oil sump, piston rings, head gasket, crankshaft seals, valve cover gasket, valves and valve stem seals, crank bearings and main bearings.

How can I pay?

Answer

Please pay in advance upon receipt of invoice bank transfer. Order execution only begins when we receive payment confirmation. Payment by credit card or cash on delivery is not possible.

Question 3

What are the warranties for reconditioned engines?

Answer

All new reconditioned engines come with a 12 month or 50000 km warranty.

A warranty document is attached to each motor sold. The warranty document sets out all the terms and conditions related to the warranty, so the customer must comply with these stated conditions.

Can I return my old engine?

Answer

Yes, we can take your old engine if we agree. The deposit usually amounts to (300-900 €) When your engine comes to us, we will return the deposit to you if the engine block and engine head do not have cracks, dents or other serious damages.

Is the old engine taken immediately?

Answer

You have up to 15 days to pack the engine without assemblies securely in the shipping box provided.

The engine must be dry, all fluids must be removed and the engine must be secured. Then contact us at info@motorio.eu. When the engine arrives and is inspected we will return the deposit.

Question 6

Instructions for the installation of the engine

Answer

Before starting the engine, check the nodes:

Whether the engine turbine is damaged or otherwise damaged.
Is the soot filter PDF not plugged and suitable for use.
Is the vacuum pump undamaged, not stuck and suitable for use.
Is the EGR system of the engine not clogged and the Egr valve is not stuck.
Are there any grease residues in the intercooler and inside the hoses.
Whether the water pump and thermostat are suitable for use.
Are the nozzle washers new and the nozzles themselves suitable for use.
Are all gaskets and seals properly installed?
Are all connections properly connected?
Is a new oil cooler installed?

First engine start: Engine without oil !!! Fill the engine with the amount of oil specified by the manufacturer according to the class. Make sure the oil pressure is correct after starting the engine. Allow the engine to run its course for 2-3 hours. Observe the operation of the engine, whether there are no extraneous sounds or liquids leaking through the engine gaskets. After 2-3 hours of idling the engine, we change the engine oil and oil filter. After changing the engine oil, the next oil change is after 10,000 km. All engine oil changes must be recorded (with invoices)
